My dad purchased this Jeep from the original owner at a farm auction. It was in typical condition for a Jeep that had spent its life on a farm. My dad used to own a CJ-2A back in the 70’s, but he had to sell it because he had too many vehicles. Years later, he found another one at an auction near our farm in 2011 and had to have it. We started a two-year frame-off restoration, using as many original parts as possible, along with some modern production items. It was mostly my dad and me working on it when we could. We finished it the week before my wedding, and it was the vehicle my wife and I drove away in. The memories of building it with my father, my wedding, and now enjoying it with my kids and seeing my dad enjoy it with his grandkids will last forever. The Willys will forever be a part of my family now.
