Gunther Werks, established in 2017 by the team behind Vorsteiner, took the iconic air-cooled Porsche 993 and crafted a modern masterpiece – the Gunther Werks Coupe. Limited to just 25 units, each Coupe is entirely one-of-a-kind.
The process begins by stripping a donor 993 to its core. The shell is then restored and modernized with lightweight carbon fiber body parts for a dramatic wide-body look. Even the lighting gets a bespoke treatment with handcrafted aluminum and carbon fiber housings.
The Coupe boasts a racing-inspired suspension setup with upgraded components and a hydraulic nose lift system for added practicality. Three-piece forged aluminum wheels, reminiscent of the classic Fuchs design, house Brembo brakes for exceptional stopping power. Inside, the driver is enveloped in luxury with custom-made carbon fiber bucket seats, exquisitely crafted leather and Alcantara upholstery, and CNC-machined billet aluminum accents.
At its heart lies a meticulously developed 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated flat-six engine by Rothsport Racing. This masterpiece generates a thrilling 430 horsepower and pairs with a reworked Getrag G50 six-speed manual transmission for an exhilarating driving experience.
This particular Gunther Werks Coupe offered for sale on Collecting Cars was commissioned in 2022 and finished in 2023. It showcases a stunning white exterior with vibrant green accents and exposed carbon fiber elements. The interior complements the theme with houndstooth cloth inserts and green contrast stitching as well as desirable options like JRZ electronic adjustable dampers and a custom exhaust system.
