I bought my Willys M38 5 years ago and have done outside numbers on front an back, rope front bumper, Star on top, AND a self made simulated Ammo box that I use for pop, and also for miscellaneous storage, and my “hula gal” in in front by dashboard. I live in a small town so it is my summertime means of transportation. . .
The photo with the airplane (C47) behind Jeep is the SAME airplane that first crossed into enemy territory right before D-Day. It carried paratroopers to various parts of key German locations, and they used these different vantage points to relay secret information back to the Allies, before the invasion. This was the actual plane, as what I was told.
Photo of The Surf Ballroom is the last place Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, and Richie Valens performed.
They were killed in a small plane that night, Feb. 3 1959.
