My Jeep was on a ranch in eastern Montana. Not any rust, but many different paint colors on it. When I bought it in 2003 I had to get it registered in Washington. This Jeep still had 9″ brakes and a single master cylinder for the brakes. It still has the original F-Head, but has since been rebuilt. The Brakes are now 11″ with a dual master cylinder with a hydraulic clutch assembly. All brake parts are from a Wagoneer. The electrical system is upgraded to a 12V system.
I have a Husky overdrive on the original Dana 18 transfer case. Tranny is still a T-90 original. I have a Viair air compressor on board. Tilt steering wheel from a GM vehicle. I have upgraded the steering system to a manual Saginaw box. The rear differential has a Limited Slip unit installed. I have a custom full roll cage. Retractable upper torso seat belts. High Back seats. Super winch front locking hubs. Warn 9000# winch, electric. 1971 CJ-5 electric windshield wipers with motor on windshield like a CJ. Tires are 33 X 12.5 Masterkraft XMT. Wheels are Ultra aluminum 8X 15″.
