Fast Casual’s parent company aligns with IFMA to bring the food-away-from-home ecosystem closer together.
Networld Media Group, a B2B publisher of several online trade publications, including FastCasual, Pizza Marketplace, QSRWeb and Food Truck Operator, is teaming up with The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, a trade association for food-away-from-home that provides insights, education and networking opportunities for the industry.
The partnership will serve each organization’s respective communities, bringing together restaurant operators, food-away-from-home manufacturers, equipment suppliers and restaurant technology providers, said Kathy Doyle, CEO of Networld Media Group.
« We serve a community of people through various content platforms who work, live and thrive in the restaurant industry, » she said. « This partnership widens our circle to better honor that community with products, service and knowledge that the market demands. »
Through this newly formed partnership, Networld will be sharing the association’s news, insights and education platforms with its audience of 100,000 readers, followers
and event attendees.
The media group produces several popular industry events, including the Fast Casual Executive Summit and Restaurant Franchising & Innovation Summit. With NMG’s combined properties, it has over 5 million page views per year.
« IFMA has recently expanded its membership to include foodservice operators, distributors, those in the supply chain, and those who provide services to the industry. » said IFMA CEO Phil Kafarakis. « We are excited to expand our media outreach through this new relationship with Networld and better connect with the entire food-away-from-home ecosystem through their well-respected digital communications channels and events. »
The partnership between IFMA and NMG will also include cross-promotion and participation in one another’s events, said Cherryh Cansler, VP of Events of Networld Media Group.
« We are honored to have Phil and his team at our events to feature the cross-industry perspectives that they promote, and you’ll see us at IFMA events hosting panels and interviewing attendees to keep the entire industry connected, » said Cansler, who is also editor of Fast Casual.
