Food Truck Fridays will make its return to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the eighth year this summer. Organized by GR8 Food Trucks, it will run from May 17 to July 26 and will feature around 20 food trucks, a merchant village and a beer tent, according to a report by MLive.
It will feature live music as well, starting on May 17 with rock band Moonshot. It will run from 5 to 9 pm each Friday. Some of the food trucks include Underground Cookie Club, Two Bones BBQ, Cheezy Duz It, PizzaMI and Outlaw Roasted Corn.
« We’ve always wanted to be able to incorporate live music, » Alan Tomlinson, organizer of the event, said in the report. « To bring back that community neighborhood feel where you can hang out with your neighbors and enjoy a summer night. Adding the music allows us to complete that experience, giving people a reason to hang out a little longer. »
