Hot Head Burritos, a fast casual restaurant chain with more than 80 locations, launched a food truck in Dayton, Ohio. The chain first purchased a food truck in fall 2023, which it has used at corporate events and breweries, according to a report by Dayton Daily News.
Kelly Gray, VP of franchising for Hot Head, said the truck is useful to train employees and expand brand exposure. A franchisee also plans to open a food truck in Miamisburg soon.
« We feel, as the franchisor, if anything’s going on we have to try it first before we have a franchisee do it, » Gray said in the report.
Hot Head Burritos first launched in 2007 in Kettering, Ohio.
