Swirly’s Ice Cream & Waffles, based in Springfield, Missouri, is looking to sell its business. Owners Jack and Kenzie Powderly announced on their Facebook page that « we’ve decided that it’s best to sell the business, » according to a report by Ozarks First.
The couple identified health issues and a child on the way as the reasons for selling.
The food truck uses a school theme for its ice cream with dishes including The Class Clown with strawberry, pretzel, cheesecake, sprinkles and a cherry, and The Emo Kid with Cocoa Puffs, mint fudge chips, brownies and chocolate sauce.
The owners plan to hold a « thank you » event prior to exiting the business.
