Its predecessor, the Drako GTE, was a 1200-horsepower electric designed around the Fisker Karma. Now they surprise us again with an SUV, and with the same target: electric hypercar for the whole family.
Designed and built to redefine the world’s perception of automotive performance, style and luxury, the Dragon is an all-new supercar – something that wasn’t possible before.
The Drako Dragon will be fully electric, and Drako makes some bold claims about the vehicle’s capabilities. Is expected to go from zero to 100km/h in 1.9 seconds and top speed in excess of 322km/h (200mph). Just 22 examples will be built at a price of 1.25 million dollars.
Those heady numbers are delivered by a 2,000-horsepower quad-motor setup and an in-house developed battery. Drako says there will be adaptive « three-stage » suspension and individual control of torque at each wheel.
Its cabin will be surprisingly spacious, offering more real estate than you typically find in an ordinary SUV. The Drako Dragon‘s lines are the work of Lowie Vermeersch, the former Pininfarina design director.
