Manna Meal, a soup kitchen in Charleston, West Viginia, will be serving from a food truck following a number of incidents at its St. John’s Episcopal Church location, including a stabbing which left one individual dead, according to a report by WSAZ 3.
« There’s been a host of instances of violence; we actually had a death there six weeks ago, » Chuck Hamsher, board president, Manna Meal, said in the report. This Wednesday, we had a couple of incidences around the property, and it really was kind of, it’s almost the straw that broke the camel’s back. We met that Wednesday night, the executive board decided to do what we did. We went to all mobile (food trucks) beginning Thursday morning. »
The food trucks will be at 505 Leon Sullivan Way from 7:30 to 8:14 a.m. and 11:30 to 12:15 p.m. and at the corner of Virginia Street and Park Avenue from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 to 1:35 p.m.
