Some food truck owners in Golden, Colorado are claiming it’s harder to do business after the city passed new regulations that food trucks cannot park on city streets. Under the rules, food trucks must operate on private property in mixed zones or commercial districts, according to a report by Fox 31.
James Genotte, owner of Pile High Burgers, said he lost « two of his best parking spots. »
« Now it seems, city after city is just trying to make it hard for food trucks to operate, » he said in the report.
Other food truck owners said they have had to cancel food truck appearances due to these rules.
