Today, BMW of North America reported its third-quarter 2023 sales figures for the BMW brands in the United States, showcasing strong sales and notable growth in fully electric products. This growth, combined with previous quarters is putting BMW on pace for another excellent sales year.

BMW Brand Excels

During the third quarter of 2023, the BMW brand witnessed a surge in sales, with a total of 83,949 vehicles delivered in the U.S. This marked a significant 7.6% increase compared to the 78,031 vehicles sold during the same period in 2022. Impressively, this momentum continued throughout the first three quarters of the year, with BMW brand sales reaching a total of 254,363 vehicles, reflecting a remarkable 10.3% growth compared to the corresponding period the previous year.

Over the first three quarters of 2023, BMW successfully sold a cumulative total of 31,043 electric vehicles, constituting an impressive 12% share of the overall sales volume year-to-date. This sets the stage for the arrival of the BMW i5, the brand’s first-ever electric offering, set to grace U.S. showrooms in the forthcoming fourth quarter.
