Haines City, Florida was considering a proposal that would ban food trucks from operating within 100 feet of a restaurant. Commissioners have now tabled the proposal due to concerns about violating state laws, according to a report by Fox 13.
Lenora Crawford, owner of Touch of Philly, said that this proposed ordinance would not allow any new Business Tac Receipts to be issued for food trucks. She said she will have to move her food truck up north if the ordinance passes.
