What menu items have been discontinued at Hungry Howie’s?

Hungry Howie’s has never shared publicly the reasons why menu items are discontinued. We can only speculate removed items were the result of low sales or supply chain challenges. 

The Chocolate Fudge Brownie is one menu that what removed from the menu without explaination. This scrumptious treat came with two topping options: salted caramel or chocolate drizzle. This was the pizza chain’s first venture into the world of desserts. I continue to hold hope the will menu item will make a comeback someday so I can try it.

Can you earn free pizza at Hungry Howie’s? 

Yes, you can earn free pizza by joining the Howie Rewards program. Here’s how it works. When you sign up for Howie Rewards, you will be awarded 50 Howie Points. Additionally, you will receive 10 Howie Points for each qualifying purchase. Once you have gotten 60 Howie Points in your account, you will be rewarded with a FREE Medium 2-Topping Pizza. This means you’ll be able to claim a free pizza after one visit to Hungry Howie’s where you make a qualifying purchase. 

You’ll have to wait up to 24 hours for the Reward Code to be valid. An email will be sent to you to inform you that the Reward is ready and the Reward Code will appear on the status page of your account. To make sure our emails don’t get marked as spam, please add [email protected] to your contacts or address book. In short, you could join the program, make a qualifying purchase, and then claim a free pizza the next day. 

One thing to keep in mind with the Howie Rewards program is that you can only earn 10 reward points per day max. Other loyalty programs at restaurants give you points based on each menu items that’s purchased or dollar amount spent. But Howie Rewards doesn’t work like this. You could place a large order of 20 large pizzas, 5 Howie breads, a side of wings and 2 beverages… You’ll earn the same 10 rewards points that the next customer receives for ordering one large pizza.

One final point to keep in mind is that Howie Points typically expire 180 days after they are issued. Make sure you use them so you don’t lose them.

If you like saving money on pizza another date you’ll want to keep in mind is National Pepperoni Pizza Day observed on September, 18th each year. Last year, Hungry Howies provided a 40% discount on their pizzas for the entire week of this celebration from September 12th – 18th. All you had to do was enter the coupon code “FORTY” to claim the discount. I don’t know if the deal will return this year, but it’s worth following the company social media accounts to find out if they do.

Unfortunatley, Hungry Howie’s does not offer discounts for seniors or military personnel.
