BMW Electric Vehicle Sales
Sales of BMW’s fully electric models continued to grow as inventory levels of stabilized. “The word is out – the ‘Ultimate Driving Machine’ is also the ‘Ultimate Electric Driving Machine’,” said Sebastian Mackensen, President and CEO, BMW of North America. “As the enthusiasm around these great products grows, we continue to gain both momentum with customers and BEV share in the market.”
What BMW USA Models Are Driving This Increase?
The big winners relate both to electrified models and generally new products. The i4 for instance is seeing a 107.1% increase partially due to the i4. Likewise the 7 Series is seeing a big jump driven by both the fact it’s all new as well as the all electric i7.
But the big winners are the X1 (which traditionally a volume leaders for the brand) and the all electric IX. The latter saw an almost 300% sales increase as volume has increased thanks to stabilization of global supply partners.
