Famed actor Bradley Cooper recently partnered with Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Angelo’s Pizza, for a popup food truck called Danny & Coop’s in New York City. The food truck sold cheesesteaks and all proceeds were donated to charity, according to a report by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Cooper went through a ServSafe food handling training course to gain a health certificate to participate in this food truck, which offered cheesesteaks for $10.
All proceeds were given to a nonprofit that feeds New York residents in need. DiGiampietro said that he and Cooper want to open a cheesesteak restaurant in New York, but it has been difficult with the price of rent, which DiGiampietro said was $18,000 a month for 700 square feet.
