A Japanese food truck called Little Nishi has opened in Austin, Texas. The truck serves a variety of temaki hand rolls, sashimi, creamed corn and more. Joel Taylor, chef and owner, has worked as a sushi chef in a variety of restaurants in the area, according to a Austin Eater report.
The temaki comes with filling such as avocado with peached miso and crispy shallots, cured mackerel, shiso, cucumbers, gingers, garlic, barbecue eel and more.
The food truck hours are 4 p.m. to 9 pm. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
